The Calling of St. Andrew and St. Peter

Andrew exits the boat first rather than his brother Peter. Perhaps this is because of his Greek title protokletos, "first-called," in reference to the events in John 1:35-41. Or it could be because Andrew is the church's patron saint. The treatment of the Jesus' beard and bushy mustache depart significantly from the canonical manner of portraying him, as does the cope. The portrait of Andrew does have the conventional long beard, and of Peter the usual short, square one.

Above the main image is a Man of Sorrows, again with a bushier mustache than one usually sees in this iconographical type or indeed in any images of Christ.
